WE WELCOME YOUR DONATION
All of what we do can only maintain a high level of success with the support of community members through volunteerism and donations. CDI is always looking to provide prospective volunteers and donors with a meaningful experience- and we believe we can do that.
We understand that low income, immigrant and first generation youth and families encounter a number of challenges that are unique to their experience. As a result, the organization was set up in part to address such matters in addition to taking into consideration the implications for the young boys and girls in these families, particularly around education and youth development.
We encourage all community stakeholders to support our mission in any way possible whether it be investment of time and energy or a small donation. Thank You.
The team at CDI is comprised of individuals who hail from immigrant and urban backgrounds and communities similar to Providence, Pawtucket and Central Falls, including one of our co-founders who currently resides in the Rhode Island area. Our organization fully understands the nature of day to day life of households located in the urban sections of our society. The challenges and barriers are many but so are the successes. While we strive to celebrate culture and accomplishments with our community members, we are also determined to create pathways for success.
CDI also intends to provide a variety of services for community members. These programs range from our CORE Success Program model for young elementary age students to our community engagement events like the youth summit that bring in the parents and families as well.
